Day 7: Learn. Live. Love. Lead.
Dear friend,
Reminder
I want to remind you of three important things today. Firstly, it’s okay to fail. In fact, it’s necessary to fail quickly and learn from your mistakes. Failure is not a setback, but a stepping stone towards progress. Remember, learning is the goal, and every failure is an opportunity to get better.
If you do fail, experience failure on your own terms. Take every opportunity to reflect on your choices and your goals. Use failure as a catalyst for growth and improvement. Every day is a chance to get better, so enjoy the process and improve with each moment.
Secondly, consistency is key. It’s not about how fast you get there, but how consistent you are in your efforts. No matter the pace, keep going. Even on days when you can only muster a little effort, that’s okay. Keep pushing forward, and you will see progress over time.
Thirdly, you are doing what you love. Continue to seek supportive relationships and create love wherever you go. Stay true to your passions and keep doing what you love. The right people will find you and support you along the way.
Fourthly, Surround yourself with encouraging people.
It’s important to have a support system, and it’s even more important that those who are supporting you are encouraging. If your friends or family members are negative and don’t understand your fears, they may try to talk you out of them or make fun of them (even if they don’t mean to). Find someone who understands what it’s like to be afraid–someone who will listen without judgment and help lift your spirits when needed.
When you create a supportive relationship, you’re building love into the world. We’re all here to do what we’re passionate about and if it’s something you truly love, then go for it. If you’re looking for ways to make more money, look for ways to do what you love. Don’t just do what you love, but find a way to invite support. Stay true to your passions, and find the right people who can support you. Keep doing what you love because the right people will find you. You know what they say: find your tribe. Show up. Do your best work and make the world a better place.
Purpose. Legacy. Help.
Life is too short to hope for later. Find satisfaction in the process and celebrate small successes along the way. Again, you are doing what you love, so keep going and invite support wherever you can.
As you lead in your field, know that you are being watched. Leave a legacy without regret and encourage those who come behind you to explore more fully, ask more questions, and take more certain risks. Enjoy the process, and make sure to leave a positive impact on those around you.
Get help from mentors and coaches. Mentors can be anyone–a family member, friend, mentor at work…anyone who has been through what you’re going through now or has made significant progress in overcoming his or her own fears will do! Coaches are similar but usually specialize in one area such as health coaching or business coaching; either way, these professionals can provide guidance during times when we need extra motivation to keep going forward with our goals.
Launch
To recap: Fail quickly, get better, and enjoy the process of learning. Be consistent and keep pushing forward, even on days when it’s hard. You are doing what you love, so seek out support and create love wherever you go. Remember to lead with purpose and leave a legacy of positivity.
You got this!
